I conduct research at the intersection of learning sciences, human computer interaction, and teacher education. My work investigates how to design, implement, and evaluate digital learning and teaching environments that promote deep conceptual understanding and foster self-regulated learning in both formal and informal settings.
I'm committed to translating research into practice by building sustainable researcher-practitioner ecosystems that support the thoughtful integration of technology into learning and teaching.
In 2023, I completed my Ph.D. in Learning, Literacies, and Technologies at Arizona State University under the guidance of Prof. Michelene (Micki) Chi.
In 2025, I finished my 2-year postdoc stay in the Computer Science department at Saarland University, co-established the Learning to Adapt, Learning with Agency Lab (LaLa Lab) with Prof. Tomohiro Nagashima.
